If you’ve ever thought about booking a photography session and immediately felt overwhelmed, you’re not alone.
What do I wear?
Where do we shoot?
Do I need hair and makeup?
What if I’m awkward in front of the camera?
What if my kids don’t cooperate?
What if I hate how I look?
Most people don’t avoid family photoshoots because they don’t want them. They avoid them because it feels like a lot of work.
Here’s the thing—I’m a little different than most photographers.

From the Very Beginning, I’ve Got You
You’re not booking me to just take photos. You’re booking someone who’s going to make this feel way less stressful than you’re imagining. I’ll help you figure things out, talk you through it, laugh with you when it feels awkward, and make sure you don’t feel weird standing in front of the camera. You don’t have to know what you’re doing. That’s literally why you called me.
It starts with a questionnaire. Don’t worry—it’s not boring or robotic. I want to know who you are, what you love, what stresses you out, and what you want to remember from this photography session. That’s how I make sure your shoot feels like you and not some cookie-cutter setup.
Worried about Wardrobe, Location, Hair & Makeup??? I’ve Got You Covered
One of the biggest stress points for clients is figuring out what to wear. And honestly, I get it. That part alone can feel overwhelming.
I help with wardrobe choices, colors, and overall styling so you feel good the moment you step in front of the camera. I’ll give honest feedback, help you narrow things down, and make sure everything works together without feeling stiff or overdone. Hair and makeup? I’ve got a list of trusted artists I’ve worked with for years and can recommend someone who fits your vibe perfectly.
If you’re really stuck, I’ll even go on a shopping run with you—as long as we stop for coffee, obviously.
Locations are never something you need to worry about either. My studio is tucked away on a farm in Belleview, near the Santos Trailhead, with sprawling pastures and gorgeous oak trees that make the perfect backdrop. I also have a long list of other spots I’ve scouted and photographed at, so you don’t have to guess where the light is good or what will photograph well. Beachy, dreamy, bold, soft, or somewhere in between—I’ll help you pick the perfect spot for your family sessions, maternity, couples, & senior portraits.
Everything about your session is customized to you. You’re not expected to figure it out on your own. That’s literally why you hired me.
The Session: Relaxed, Fun, and Actually Enjoyable
This is usually the part where people tell me, “I was so nervous, but this was actually fun.”
I keep it real. I joke. I guide you through every pose. You’ll never stand there awkwardly wondering what to do with your hands or feel uncomfortable in your own skin.
Kids? High-energy? Shy or self-conscious? No problem. I match the energy, go with the flow, and make sure the whole thing feels effortless. You don’t have to be confident to book a guided photoshoot—confidence happens while we’re shooting.

Editing: Every Photo Gets the VIP Treatment
After the session, I get to work. I hand-edit every single photo—no presets, no batch filters. I tweak lighting, colors, and details to make sure every image is perfect while still feeling like you.
It takes time because it matters. Every photo is treated like it’s going in a frame on your wall, not just scrolling past in your feed.

Your Proof Gallery & Final Images
You’ll get a proof gallery where you can choose your favorites. Many clients end up purchasing the full gallery, which is always available at a discounted rate. No pressure—just options.
The gallery is available for 30 days. Want to keep it longer? You can archive it for extended periods, or even for life, for a small fee. Your memories don’t vanish; they’re just waiting for you.
Bottom Line
People come to me because they want someone who actually has their back.
They want to feel fabulous in their photos, laugh when things get awkward, and get through it without losing their minds.
I’ll guide you through everything, keep it light, crack a few jokes when it feels awkward, and handle all the little details you don’t want to think about. By the end, you leave with photos that actually feel like you, and a session that didn’t make you want to pull your hair out.
And here’s the part I love: these can be storybooks, albums, or wall art that make people stop and say, “Where’d you get that?!” Pieces that actually gain value over time, that you’ll still be proud to show off years from now.
At the end of the day, it’s more than just photos—it’s your family, your memories, and the story you’re leaving behind.
Your legacy.
Xoxo ~ Jennifer
