Waiting

“Waiting”
The story behind it is about a mother/woman who has lost her child/love for one reason or another ( I have my own personal story, but I wanted the viewer to be able to interpret it any way they relate to) but she has lost her child or her child has left and she visits the sea every night with her lantern in hopes that the light may lead her son home.

I lost custody of my son when he was 18 months old. I was young and dumb and running the streets. All things I wish I could change but can’t. My son lives with my mother and step father and needless to say him and I don’t see eye to eye when it comes to my son. I have sense grown up and realized that they were right to do what they did and my son is in a better place. But that does not mean that I have given up. That does not mean I have given in. It simply means I know that he is happy and that he knows that I love him and that one day, he is coming home! © Jennifer Marie Gifford
